T–7: new and renewed certificates only migrate to ISO 37001:2025

On 31 August 2026, the mandatory milestone under IAF MD 30 will be reached: accredited certification bodies must start performing initial certification and recertification only to ISO 37001:2025. This is a reminder of the T–7 threshold, not a new decision. The date does not invalidate any existing certificates to the 2016 edition; the client transition ends on 28 February 2027. Certification bodies should check the status of their accreditation transition, the competence of auditors, reviewers and decision makers, tenders, contracts, audit time and certificate control. Applicant and certified organizations should confirm the applicable edition, schedule and evidence on the new topics of climate, compliance culture, conflict of interest and anti-bribery function.
